For this, you need to have a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of 700 hours of study needs to be devoted to both classroom and clinical training. Full time programs take not more than 18 months for their completion. The Georgia Board of Examiners of LPNs allows you to enroll in LPN program within the state or outside the state. If you plan to go through LPN programs from a different state and then obtain Georgia’s LPN license, then you need confirm that the curriculum of your LPN programs in Georgia is approved by the Georgia Board of Examiners of LPNs.

Exam Fee

Eventually on the completion of your LPN training you need to take the NCLEX-PN exam. You need to an application fee of $200 to Pearson Vue for registering for the exam. The Georgia Board of Nursing charges $40 fee along with criminal background check and health exam. It contains 90 to 205 which advance on the basis of your answers. If you don’t clear the examination in the first attempt, then you need to wait for 45 days before for the re-exam. The LPN license should be renewed every 2 years by paying a fee of around $60.
